Precinct Convention Information

 
 
The Democratic and Republican Parties will be holding Precinct Conventions (sometimes called a "Caucus") at each election day polling place after the closing of the polls.  Any registered voter who has voted in the 2010 Primary Election may attend and participate in their party's Precinct Convention.
 
Voters who have had their voter registration certificate stamped to show that they have voted in the Primary Election should bring their certificate to the Precinct Convention.  Voters who voted in the Primary Election but did not get their certificate stamped will be qualified at the Precinct Convention using a voter list that shows that they voted either during early voting or on election day.
 
IMPORTANT:  The stamped voter registration certificate is NOT necessary for admission to the Precinct Convention.  Primary Election voters will also be qualified at the Precinct Convention using a list of persons who have voted.

Precinct Convention Starting Times
  • Democratic Party Precinct Conventions begin at 7:15 p.m.
     
  • Republican Party Precinct Conventions begin at 7:30 p.m.
     
  • Exception:  The Precinct Convention at a given polling place may not begin until all voters of that party at that polling place have finished voting.
