Helping Tarrant County Age Well

The Tarrant County Commission on Aging (TCCoA) is a fifteen (15) person advisory commission appointed by the Tarrant County Commissioners Court. Each Commissioner and the County Judge appoint three (3) members. The members are chosen with respect to geographical location, gender, age and racial/ethnic orientation to assure diversity. At least eight (8) members must be 60 years or older.

One or more County Staff will serve as liaison to the Commission. A County Commissioner and the Executive Director of United Ways Area Agency on Aging will serve as ex-officio members of the Commission.

The Commission on Aging meets monthly on the fourth (4th) Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at the Resource Connection Board Room, 1100 Circle Drive, Fort Worth, TX.
